Cape Town offers beautiful scenery, history, vibrant culture, great food (and wine), beaches, adventure and wildlife. It’s a city that should be on everyone’s bucket list! An Epic Two-Week Hawaii Itinerary: Oahu, the Big Island, Kauai, and Maui

When planning a trip to Hawaii, many will tell you not to island hop because there’s so much to do and see on each island and a few days isn’t nearly enough to see everything. And yes, there’s a lot of traveling, flights, rental cars, etc. But for us, going to Hawaii is not something we can just pick up and do every year. It’s very likely that we won’t be able to visit Hawaii 4 times in our lifetime. It’s really far, requires a lot of time off work and it’s not all that cheap. We’re ‘on the go’ type travelers anyway, so we went for it. We wanted to get a taste of everything and so now, when and if we do get a chance to go back to Hawaii, we can make a more informed decision on which island we want to go back to and what we want to do there. I realize this may not be the way to do it for everyone, but for us it was so worth it and I have no regrets! Hike to Maryland Heights

Harpers Ferry National Historic Park not only offers great views, but there’s a ton of history. The park covers over 4,000 acres at the border of Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia. It’s also where the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers converge and the midpoint and headquarters of the AT (Appalachian Trail). 6 Days in Las Vegas and Death Valley

Covering 3.4 million acres of desert, Death Valley National Park is the largest national park in the US. The park is home to the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level and the darkest night sky in the United States. For this trip, we didn’t do our typical road trip. Instead, we based out of Las Vegas with a 2-day side trip to the park. When it comes to vacations, I prefer to be in nature, but one of the things I love about Las Vegas is that there’s something for everyone, including nature lovers! There’s plenty of adventure just a short drive away!
